Hands to Handgun ( Mixed/Ladies only classes available) $120 person/$200 couples
Most self-defense training lives at the distance where you can see the threat coming. Real life doesn’t always give you that luxury.
Studies of defensive encounters consistently show that most incidents occur within 9–15 feet—a distance that disappears in Moments. Closer still, at 3–5 feet, you’re no longer in a “shooting problem”… you’re in a grappling problem. This is the range where space, time, and clean draws vanish—and where untrained gun owners are at their most vulnerable.
Hands to Handgun is built specifically for that moment.
This class bridges the critical gap between empty-hand defense and firearm deployment. You’ll learn how to fight from contact distance, maintain control of your weapon, and create the space needed to safely and effectively bring your handgun into play.
In this course, you’ll train to:
Recognize and manage threats inside the danger zone (0–5 feet)
Use leverage, structure, and positioning to survive initial contact
Defend against weapon grabs and entanglements
Access and deploy your handgun under pressure
Create distance when distance doesn’t exist
Integrate strikes, movement, and firearm presentation into one continuous response
This is not a marksmanship class. This is about winning the fight before the gun ever clears the holster.
If your training starts at the draw… you’re already behind.
Train for where fights actually happen.
Ladies Concealed Carry
$125 person, $200 Bring a friend/couples
This women-only concealed carry class is designed in a supportive, respectful, and confidence-building environment where women can learn, ask questions, and grow at their own pace. Whether you are brand new to firearms or looking to refine your skills, this course is built to meet you where you are and help you feel more capable, aware, and empowered in your everyday life.
Students will receive clear, practical instruction on Colorado concealed carry law, safe firearm handling, and responsible decision-making. You’ll also learn situational awareness skills, pre-attack warning signs, and how to recognize and avoid potential threats before they escalate. We focus not just on shooting, but on mindset, awareness, and preparedness—so you are better equipped to protect yourself and those you love.
Through patient coaching, real-world discussion, and hands-on training, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how concealed carry fits into your daily routine—whether at home, at work, or out in the community. Our goal is for you to leave feeling more confident, more capable, and more prepared, knowing you have the skills and judgment to make thoughtful, responsible choices in any situation.
At 4th Box Firearms Academy, we believe every woman deserves the knowledge, training, and confidence to take charge of her own safety.
